Business Development Officer

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer with at least one year of experience in the IT industry to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT services landscape and a proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and closing deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities in the IT services market
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to attract and acquire new clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other outreach activities
  • Understand client needs and requirements, and develop customized solutions to meet their objectives
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and services to clients
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and performance to management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of one year of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the IT industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of IT services and solutions, including software development, web design, digital marketing, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative and drive
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel as needed
